MY BIO

Coach Barou

Coach Barou was born and raised in Dakar, Senegal. He moved to the United States at the age of 13 and settled in mobile, Alabama along with his family. He attended St. Paul’s Episcopal School and went on to enroll at Spring Hill College as a student-athlete. Coach Barou completed his bachelor’s degree in International Relations in 2019. He is currently working on his master’s degree.

Coach Barou has had a successful goalkeeping career so far.

While still playing, Coach Barou has always had a passion for coaching and teaching the next generation. He has been coaching since High School. He's Helped train Goalkeepers at his Alma Mater, St. Paul’s Episcopal, but also at UMS-Wright High School and Cottage Hill Christian.

As head of the UMS-Preparatory School boys soccer program, I hired and have been working with Coach Ndaw as the goalkeeper coach for the past two seasons.
